What Happens After I Start a SEO Campaign?

seo-process

One of the most important points that we try to make to our SEO clients is that SEO is a slow process. It’s not the kind of marketing tactic that’s going to have immediate results or a quick ROI. The complete opposite is true. In fact, it can take many weeks or possibly even months to start seeing results. Obviously this is very frustrating to clients who want to see fast results.

The SEO Process

Within the first 1-week we research the targeting keywords using various tools, analytics and competitors analysis. We also analyze the sites current traffic to develop a structure game plan.

Week 2: Once we have figured out what keywords to go after, we start the manual link building. We start by first creating mini-authority top-level properties that link back to your site on high authority blogging sites like WordPress, Blogspot, & Tumblr and many more. These properties serve as the seed for our SEO strategy.

Week 3: We start building Web 2.0 properties; these mini-blog sites push link juice to the mini-authority properties that funnel all of that authority to your site. We also begin the social signals, basically we shared your website on Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus and Facebook. Making it seem like people are engaging and sharing your sites.

Week 4. Analyze rankings and traffic, look into rankings and traffic to analyze results and make adjustments by optimizing each page for main keywords. Start directory submissions if purchase. Create SEO report for client.

The following month we monitor Google indexing, make changes accordance with analytical findings and repeat the above process for new keywords and online presence.

Conclusion

When it comes to SEO is very time consuming, as everything we do must be done manually. We build links in a way that mimics the path of viral content – The exact same structure that happens naturally online when something goes viral. This is exactly what Google always says they want: Create quality content that attracts links and goes viral. The difference here, is we just make it go viral ourselves.

Google constantly changes their algorithm and we must continue to analyze and make changes. Every day search engines are crawling the Internet and adjusting search engine results page (SERP) to reflect updated content, new sites, and shifting dynamics in site linking and popularity.

To maintain a popular web presence and stay at the top of the search engine for your keyword phrases, you need to regularly monitor your website, the competition, and the latest trends in keyword searches you used to optimize your site. To achieve and hold top rankings, you must stay ahead of all competitors for the keyword phrases you used in optimizing your site. If you knock someone out of the top ten results off the search engines, you can be sure they will be doing everything they can to get back on top. Competitors try to and WILL outrank you. You cannot ignore your competitors, because they will not ignore you. If you rank higher than them on the search engines, you can be sure they will be working to outrank you.

That is why ongoing SEO is critical for clients interested in attaining and maintaining top results in the search engine pages.

* The amount of links and keywords for each of the layers depends on which SEO package you get.
